Varsity Field Hockey Earns Shut Out at Govs
With savvy stickhandling, quick passing and lots of shots on goal, Shore earned a well-deserved victory at Govs. Shore moved the ball down the field in a hurry and the Govs goalie put on a clinic while stopping shot after shot. Shore scored midway in the first half on a goal from Anna B assisted by Maddie M. Later, Maddie M scored on beautifully placed penalty shot and Sophie added another goal to seal the victory. Caroline F was an integral player in keeping the pressure on the opponent. Steady defense from Julia D, Holly L, and Catherine F was crucial and not to be overlooked. The team looks forward to its next game on Thursday vs. Shady Hill!
