Tuition and Financial Assistance

Apply For Financial Assistance

Shore sets families’ tuition at the level they can afford; we determine each individual family’s ability to pay by evaluating a range of factors. Many Shore families sacrifice to pay tuition at the highest level, while many more contribute at reduced levels that fairly reflect their ability to pay. With over $1 million available annually to bridge the difference between the amount of tuition families are able to pay and the full cost of a Shore education, we are committed to making our school as accessible as possible. As you begin your application process, please make special note of the policies and perspectives on financial assistance at Shore.

Shore Country Day School partners with School and Student Services (SSS) in our financial assistance process. To begin your annual financial assistance application, you will complete SSS’s Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). Completing the PFS online will save you time and money, and help us make our financial assistance decisions more quickly.

The PFS is a comprehensive application that will take some time to complete. Give yourself the time you need by not waiting until the deadline to begin. You’ll need your most recent tax return before beginning the PFS. We also recommend that you review the wide range of materials, downloads and webinars that SSS has put together to help families with the financial assistance process. They can be found at the SSS Website.

Please see Financial Assistance FAQ's for more detailed information.
